At Home Based Business-Internet Scams?

It is the obligation of this site to discuss absurd, ridiculous, outrageous or confusing things that take place in society.  It is also our duty to inform you of things that could potentially cause harm, rob you of money, or be blatant rip offs!  You stand to lose thousands of dollars by not paying attention to this article and site.  It is important to be well informed of what really goes on behind your back.  All of these things cause confusion in society.  One thing we all need more information on is the truth behind money making, or “work at home” internet sites, scams and programs.

The internet is heavily used by those seeking to make money or learning how to make money.  As a result of this there are thousands of “how to make money” internet sites enticing you to either buy products which will supposedly teach you how to make money!  Here at Land-Of-Confusion we cannot be 100% sure if any of these money making programs will work for you personally, but we can enlighten you with some general information.  We have researched what some of these get rich quick schemes really are.  Some we have tried ourselves!  Some are Legit.  Still others are just plan obvious rip-offs!

The money making, “work at home” ideas that we speak of include such things as rebate processing, candle selling, drop-shipping, selling ebooks, secret shopping, buying and selling “ecurrency”, taking surveys, Ebay selling and even starting a “mysterious” business which you aren’t informed about until you buy the plan!  And this is not a conclusive list.

The main point to mention is that 99% of these types of money making plans, mentioned above, will not work for 99% of the people who buy them.  Keep this in mind.  The large majority of people will be wasting their time and money on these programs.  Do you really want to do that?  Don’t sit around confused as to which one will work best.  Most of the time, NONE of them will work for you.  This is the new way of doing business on the internet.  However, we did infer that a minority of people may be successful with some of these programs. It is a very small minority!  This is the simple truth.  Do not be a fool.  We absolutely believe that you have as much of a chance of getting good extra income by winning a lottery.

The next most important point is this.  Even if one of these “make money at home” programs actually works for you, generally you will not make even close to enough to quit your day job!  So don’t think you are going to get to that point easily.  Chances are you will not.  Some of the programs may net you an extra $10-$50 a week if they work at all.  Is that enough for the hassle?  For the majority of the people it is not.  Don’t be fooled by programs claiming you can sit around watching income arrive magically.  Any of the programs we saw that may actually work required weekly work, if not nightly, and the ability to remain organized at all times.  We’ve tried them ourselves and they are a ton of work, which may or may not be worth it to you.  you have to decide that first.  You have to ask yourself, “Do I want a part-time job at the local business with a sure income, or do I want to spend hours a night on the computer and possibly make nothing, or very little.”  It depends on how fast you need money.

Usually, people selling information on how to make money from home, or quickly, are the only people in the program making much money!  The internet can only reward so many people at a time selling the same information over and over.  Many of the money making programs are simply informing you how to set up a similar information Web Site to then sell to other fools the same information you just bought!  Do you see what we mean?  They are simply selling you information on how to do what they did to get your money.

Programs like Rebate Processing, Mystery Shopping or Taking Surveys almost always involve so much hassle for so little profit that they are not worth it.  Almost everyone who joins one of these programs eventually drops out.  So all you have done is make the person selling you the information, rich.  For instance, taking surveys for income usually involves signing up for the “trial period” on every service for which you are surveying, and giving out your credit card number and personal information.  You then have to remember to cancel all of these trial subscriptions or end up accidentally paying to subscribe!  It’s absurd!

Many people are making money by establishing internet sites with ads on them.  This is legitimate.  As well, it is not a bad thing because many of the ads do provide extra services and information to you, just as TV ads do.  But it gets ridiculous when entrepreneurs set up internet sites which offer little benefit, and very little information, and contain mostly “ad” links to other sites.  They are providing you virtually no service.  These sites exist simply to make the owner money off of the ads.  You will find that many “work at home” schemes are teaching people to set up similar type sites in some kind of “niche”.  The research we have done shows that, while you can make money like this, the vast majority of people do not make very much and it is a lot of continuous work.  Yes, some people have actually gotten very wealthy doing this, but it is only a small minority and luck was involved in many cases.

We continue to support and have always recommend one site that offers legitimate opportunities for real people.

Many people have started successful and unique “make money at home” businesses, such as selling their own crafts, or information that they are experts in, or services that they are good at.  These are usually businesses that they started from scratch!  Ebay selling has also been successful for many people, though not the majority.  In all of these cases it requires a lot of time and work.  There are very few easy ways.

So, in summary, be very leery of any “make money at home” plans, schemes or programs.  Do your research!  While many of them are not scams, the large majority are not “workable” in any easy fashion.  You will be in for more than you thought and eventually you will realize you have just funded someone else’s retirement and not your own!
