Seat Belts and Cell Phones

A person nearly ran into me today while they were, what appeared to be, texting on their cell phone.  I had to laugh as I looked down and saw the seat belt I was wearing.  The mentality of people totally amazes me.  In my state it is illegal to drive, or ride in a car, without a seat belt but not to text message, or talk, on a cell phone while driving.  Excuse me people…which one of those appears to be the most dangerous to other drivers?  This is an embarrassment to me that state legislatures allow this, and they have for many years.  You either have to set consistent rules or none at all.  I don’t think Read more »
